Mushroom Compost

Improving soil structure
Mulching beds, slow release nutrients
Soil conditioner
Great for shrubs, roses and heavy feeding vegetables

Mushroom Compost is a nutrient-rich soil conditioner that helps improve soil structure, enhance moisture retention and support healthy plant growth. Produced from composted mushroom-growing materials, it is an excellent addition to gardens, borders and planting schemes where improved soil quality is required.

Ideal for mulching beds and enriching the soil, Mushroom Compost provides a slow release of nutrients that benefit shrubs, roses and other heavy-feeding plants. It can be used as a soil conditioner to improve both clay and sandy soils, helping to create better growing conditions throughout the garden. Please note that Mushroom Compost is not suitable for ericaceous plants, including azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias and blueberries. For further information regarding nutrient content and composition, please refer to the manure report available here.

Convenient pre-packed bags are also available for collection from our yard. Agricultural enquiries are welcome, with large volumes available for farms, growers and commercial users.
